Hi Dave, from what I understand the issues that you were having were fixed today so you should be able to login without a problem but let us know if that is still not the case.
As far as the Telegram ban our admins are volunteers and fellow community members who spend their free time answering questions and being ambassadors for this project. The reason you were getting those answers is they are not the ones fixing the issue but as you should now see the problem was addressed quickly. The admins may reinstate you but I will leave it up to their judgement.
