IP address is showing my location

Hey everyone, I've checked reddit, forums here and gone through everything I could find. My issue is that my IP is showing my location with all my settings. If I do it in full route mode it'll switch to another country, but smart mode consistently puts me in california where I am. I've removed the US from all the tunnels and no luck. Here's my settings...

All in on router/modem....DeeperConnect....wireless router. I'm connected to the wireless router.

Within my Dashboard I've got these settings...
System - upgraded to 1.1.1.rel (Still not seeing DPR on the side. I have an indiegogo DPN)
DPN - Smart Route this shows my location (Full mode will ONLY load whatever country I pick and is SUPER SLOW)
Tunnel - North America deleted. Other countries listed.
IP Config blank
Nothing done under SSL Filter
Sharing - Enabled
Sharing Traffic Limit 0 (do i need to change this?)
Bit Torrent (Disabled)
Sharing Bandwidth (unlimited)

That's where I am. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi dustybeas - I have a similar concern and started a thread about it. I am concerned that if my DC unit not only connects me to my ISP directly in Smart Route AND is the equivalent of an 'exit node' for other DPN traffic, not only do get no anonymity, but I could also carry-the-can for 'unsavoury' traffic from another DPN user. Other threads have commented that you can disable sharing entirely, then do a full route through a region not your own, but I think that means you are 'leeching' in a noncontributory way to the DPN and in any case will have low and variable connection speeds with the only benefit of the filtering the DP provides. So - my conclusion is that the DPN is principally a Mining platform, (which like you as an Indiegogo backer, I don't have DPR, but looked to DPN as a distributed VPN, which it was advertised as) unsuitable for my security and privacy needs. https://deepernetwork.cc/d/273-advice-on-settings-for-browsing-anonymity-and-security/4 Perhaps an Admin from DC will chime in and inform me otherwise, but unless and until they do, my DC units are demoted to dust-gathering status.

@Eloise I'll join you in constat, ditto .. for me I want a securiter above all , the smart route mode only works with the last two firmware ,Full route is awful , the flow is catastrophic, I do not think about it .. it is this security that prompted this investment on my part ....

I'm also experiencing complete drops. I'm connected to the wifi router, but no internet. I have to switch back to my all in one router the cable company gave me. This is truly annoying. I know it's a new venture, but I've emailed multiple times and it's been crickets.

I'd like to chime in also - and request a response from deepernetwork - I thought this was the fundamental point of a vpn? Spent ages trying to find a solution to this thinking I was doing something wrong.

I've updated and still no luck with my ip address not showing my actual location. Admin???
