Yes, that's good info on Reddit. To add to that, the longer your deeper connect is online, the more discoverable it becomes over time. Having modem, deeper, router >> [LAN devices] is how I've had it setup since day 1 and it never has issues with 10MB/day. Be patient, they will find it. Public IP is important. I personally have limited traffic during the day in the US, then many connections at night which makes sense. With this setup, the drawback is you will lose significant bandwidth due to the deeper connects "overhead". Not sure if this is software, hardware or both. Some loss is expected due to the firewall features, but it seems a bit excessive atm. Hopefully that improves with updates. But I can't complain - it gets the job done.
