Obviously I must be doing something wrong, or my box doesn't work as expected:
I'm in Germany, my deeper connect mini is connected between my internet router and my lan router, mode is set to DPN smart route. I have no tunnel configured for Europe, several for America or Asia. When I connect to whatsmyip.com|net, it always shows my german ip-address. I tried to configure Routing for whatsmyip.com to ecplicitly use a tunnel (tried any tunnel) America, Asia, South Africa,... but my address never(!!!) changes. Looks like it's never using any tunnel in Smart Route mode, the only way is to switch to full route which isn't really what I had in mind (and what was advertised). So basically, the Deeper Mini is currently just a bumper on the road (at least in my setup), slowing down my internet access... And time and again it seems to completely block some of the traffic to my internet router - affecting only some internal addresses -, generating alarms on my monitor (2-3 times a day) for no apparent reason.
Any suggestions what I could do?
I already tried switching to the Deeper Nano, but the box gets really hot (measured 80+ degrees celsius on the outside after a few hours)! So that is clearly no option for 24/7 and I didn't dare to do any further tests.
