The current policy is to award one credit point if you share your bandwidth greater than 10 MB on two consecutive days. If you share 20MB on one day and 9.99 MB on the following day, you don’t get any credits for sharing the bandwidth. You do not get any additional credits if you offer more than 10MB. Many users may not be able to reach 10 MB bandwidth sharing if they use private IPs. For the benefit of user community backing this project and for overall success of Deeper project, I strongly believe following changes are needed.
- 0.5 Credits should be awarded if the user shares bandwidth greater than 10 MB on any given day. For each MB of bandwidth shared up to 10 MB, users should be awarded 0.05 Credits. The credit award should not be dependent on bandwidth sharing of 10MB more on consecutive days.
- Additional credits should be given when a person shares bandwidth more than the required minimum of 10 MB at a different rate than the first 10MB.
- Daily sharing limit should be added. When the daily sharing limit is reached, sharing to be systematically stopped and resumed automatically the following day without user intervention. The deeper system currently has only monthly sharing limit.
Would appreciate if Deeper team can make these changes to benefit the ever growing user community.
