Setting up a mini

This might be a stupid question, but here goes. I just unpacked the Mini. There are network ports on each side of the device. Which side should I use to plug in the modem and which side should I use to connect to my Wi-Fi router? It seems to work either way but … I can’t seem to reach 11.22.33.44 or 34.34.34.34 with a browser. Both respond to pings. Any suggestions?

DN-Craig You can plug either network cable in either side. The device detects which is which.

As for not being able to load 34.34.34.34

Grab a coffee and let it run for 30 minutes then try again (most people expected it to work immediately without giving device time to set itself up)
Try using a different browser (Chrome or Brave seem to work but try others if you already use them)
If using adblocker, disable it for 34.34.34.34
If using Brave disable your shields for 34.34.34.34
