SteveH Yes it works. There may be the occasional bug here and there but it works.
The reset button does nothing. The dev team have to make it erase the settings but it doesn't even do that yet. It should also remove the wallet bound to the device, because if you have physical access to the device there is high probability that you own the device.
As for your initial problem, I noticed I had to click "connect" several times before it would connect. I think I even had to refresh the page, and it took me straight to the DPR portal.
If there is a "try again" hyperlink click it, because I noticed sometimes the PICO does not realize it is connected until you press the "try again" link. Once you press that it notices you are connected and goes to the portal.
I am not sure what the problem is you are having but it seems more of an issue of your understanding of the product and how it works rather than a problem with the device itself.
I only say this because mine works flawlessly on open public wifi (with and without password)
Maybe try waiting for the next firmware update. Sometimes bugs can only be fixed by updating to newer firmware - in which case you have to wait for DPR to release it.
