The correspondence with the lawyers representing the IP holder of the "illegal download" performed via my Deeper mini was in German (because I live in Germany). I can assure you it's not FUD as sending so called warning letters is common practice in Germany, threatening people to take them to court which will result in much higher costs.
There's a lot of discussion and information about this in public forums.
I was able to resolve/negotiate, but still had to pay and needless to say, that settlement fee cost more than my Deeper mini. I have turned off sharing for now, until Deeper can provide a technical solution and while I was really interested in the mining option, the potential costs and hassle seems to outweigh the passive income imo.
