I am on the latest OS, and the mining tab has disappeared, any way to restore it? e.g downgrade firmware maybe?

Mine current version says 1.1.0.c14, so I should keep waiting until I get 1.1.0.rel upgrade? Is there a site where we can see a release log to know what versions have been released so far?

Mini/Nano are a consumer version... no mining function will be available I believe.
JoJo I did have mining functionality when I first received my Mini. Then the newer firmware took it away from everyone. I hope/believe mining will be back on my Mini when the mainnet release is pushed.
Junk I had a TAB when I received mine, which gave me an impression that it would have. However, it never really WORKED. Also, I can't see anywhere that it was promised to work... Hopefully it will... but I have my doubts.

I have just received my mini, the dpr options are missing from the dashboard...
I'm so irritated mine is apparently a "consumer" one from IGG. There was nothing that said it could or could not mine. Is there a manual firmware download capability? This has to be a simple firmware issue. Not device. Thoughts?
