Try this if you have not done yet... delete your local region or country tunnel.
This helped me a little. Here's something else I have done:
I have the NANO and the MINI.

and mounted the fans on top of the heatsinks. Then applied the heatsinks onto the nano and mini. With the MINI I used the following on one side only (both fans and heatsink) and with the nano I used top and bottom.
Then connected the USB cables to the USB ports, you can use a splitter or just connect both cables into ONE.
It helps... but I still want to open the devices and see how it looks, and maybe do something better. I wish I had ictures of them opened.
