I have a deeper connect nano device that I'd like to connect to a router but not plug it to any other device - so only one deeper ethernet port would be used (assuming I don't need to secure my connection). Would such configuration work in terms being a DPN node and mining? Or does it require to have both ports used?

So you purchased this device just to run as a node and share your bandwidth?
Not exactly. I'm just thinking of such option as at the moment my network setup is bit complicated. Later on I will switch to default configuration, but for now yes, I'd like to know if it's possible to only run it as a node and share bandwidth.
