When I first connected my Deeper Connect Mini it ran at about half speed download but upload was the same. I had the DCM reset as I forgot the log in detail and since my download speed has dropped to below 10% (77mbps from 947mbps before connecting the device) At first I thought it was the ethernet card, it was connected at only 100mbps But I restarted the laptop and now it's back to 1Gbps but it did not improve the download speed. I was chatting with someone from Deeper Network in messenger about and it he told me to chat to a Daniel in the forum but I have no idea how. New to Forums. I'm in UK
This device DESTROYS network performance
paula912 Try the following to resolve the issue:
DPN > TUNNEL > Add These
North Europe - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
East Asia - Japan
East Asia - South Korea
Southeast Asia - Singapore
North America - United States
If you are located in any of the above countries, then REMOVE IT
Set your DPN to SMART ROUTE
Problem solved, I hope...
Ive tried these settings that JoJo posted above and I'm still having problems, my network speeds are horrible with the device installed. Ive actually removed it for now hoping things/settings improve over time.
Hi
Alltough using the above settings internet speed is dropped from 990 to 360 Mps my own country is not in the tunnel list. How do I get my full speed back again?
You can always set your DPN mode to disabled. That will be your straight through speed to test.
Default configuration is for SMART ROUTE IS:
Southeast Asia - Singapore
North America - United States
Europe - Germany
I've seen guidance to set Sharing = Disabled and have a question about this. Since mining is not live yet, is there any drawback to disabling sharing at the moment? Is there any reason, other than graciously supporting our community, to have sharing enabled at this time?

MikeDinOak Should definitely support and keep sharing on. If everyone turns off, then we have no DPN!
Mining is to incentivize sharing, but if everyone shares, there's no reason for mining. We better share and have a DPN working for all.
MikeDinOak NO DRAWBACKS AT ALL! I have 1 1GB and 500MBPS connection being shared, unlimitedly.
Did you guys set a limit on sharing?
If you limit sharing you will limit the speed you can get. Set it to unlimited if you want faster speeds.
Any VPN is going to slow your connection down because you are routing your connection through a specific path and encrypting between you and the endpoint.
Another thing that can affect speed, is where you are routing through. China will be slow compared to North America or Europe. I send all my video to North America and Europe tunnels because they have the faster internet speeds.
